Rental insurance and permitted roads

An insurance label is not the full policy. Review exclusions and your liability before payment.

Questions for the supplier

Check the excess, glass, tyre and underbody cover, permitted roads and incident procedures. Four-wheel drive alone does not permit off-road use.

Excess and exclusions

Check maximum liability for each type of damage. Review glass, wheels, underbody, lost keys and contract violations separately. The word “full” is not a substitute for the policy terms.

Cover depends on use

Agree permitted roads, drivers and travel area. Four-wheel drive does not automatically allow unpaved roads or border crossings.

If damage occurs

Make the situation safe and contact the supplier listed in the agreement. Follow reporting and documentation procedures. Do not arrange repairs without their permission.
